¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Birendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 4.6.1984 passed by VIIth Addl. Sessions Judge, Bulandshahar in S.T. No.491 of 1983.

¶3As per the office report dated 20.12.2022, a report of C.J.M., Bulandshahar dated 3.12.2021 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Shafaqat has died around 28 years back. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
