¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Ajay Singh, learned A.G.A-I for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 25.7.1984 passed by Sessions Judge, Banda in S.T. No.21 of 1984.

¶3As per the office report dated 1.11.2023, a report of C.J.M., Banda dated 5.1.2022 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Altaf Khan has died around 20 years back. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
