¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Ajay Singh, learned A.G.A-I for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 20.9.1983 passed by Special Judge, Fatehpur in S.T. No.295 of 1981.

¶3As per the office report dated 23.5.2022, a report of C.J.M., Fatehpur dated 22.2.2022 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Mughal has died around 24 years back. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
