¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal despite the fact that there are five learned counsels appearing on behalf of the appellant. Sri Ajay Singh, learned A.G.A-I for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 29.7.1983 passed by Vth Addl. Sessions Judge, Bareilly in S.T. No.285 of 1980.

¶3As per the office report dated 12.1.2023, a report of C.J.M., Bareilly dated 30.11.2022 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Vipin has died. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
