¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Ajay Singh, learned A.G.A-I for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 29.1.1983 passed by Addl. District Judge, Agra in S.T. No.140 of 1979.

¶3As per the office report dated 26.8.2023, a report of C.J.M., Agra dated 16.8.2023 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Pooran has died. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
