¶1Matter taken up in the revised list. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal despite there are five learned counsels appearing on behalf of the appellant. Sri Ajay Singh, learned A.G.A-I for the State is present.

¶2The present appeal has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 20.12.1982 passed by IIIrd. Addl. Sessions Judge, Rampur in S.T. No.125 of 1982.

¶3As per the office report dated 31.10.2023, a report of C.J.M., Rampur dated 3.10.2023 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Raffan Khan has died on 17.5.2022. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

¶4This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died.

¶5In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
