¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.C. Upadhyay, learned standing counsel for the State respondents.

¶2In pith and substance the petitioner, who claims to be ex-Pradhan, has approached to this Court with the grievance that even though, the work was performed and said work was also acknowledged by the respondents but inspite of repeated representations till date the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Varanasi has not decided the claim of the petitioner. He has confined his prayer that his representation dated 11.4.2023 may be decided.

¶3No useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending consideration.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances, without adverting on merits and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of asking the respondent no.3, District Panchayat Raj Officer, Varanasi to process the application of the petitioner dated

11.04.2023 expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Order Date :- 8.11.2023 S.P. High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
