¶2No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal. Sri Bade Lal Bind, learned counsel for the State is present, who has been heard.

¶3The present appeal has been filed by the appellant-Lalloo Singh, against the judgement and order dated

12.12.1993 passed by Special/Sessions Judge, Shahjahanpur in Special Case No. 43 of 1990/20 of 1991 (State vs. Lalloo Singh), under Section 19 of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substance Act 1985, P.S.- Jalalabad, District Shahjahanpur.

¶4As per office report dated 31.10.2023 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellant in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 22.09.2023 informed that the appellant-Lalloo Singh has died. The said report has been sent after due enquiry.

¶5Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.
