By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has prayed for following relief: "1. to issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the Principal Secretary, Department of Irrigation and Water Resources, Government of U.P. Lucknow to decide the departmental appeal filed by the petitioner dated 29.09.2022 under Rule 11 of the U.P. Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999 (Annexure -2 to the writ petition) within stipulated period. " Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the above prayer. In view of above, the present petition stands disposed of with direction to the appellate authority to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order after following the procedure prescribed for disposal of such appeal.
