By means of this application, the applicants have prayed for expeditious disposal of case being Session Trial No. 920 of 2021 (State vs. Ramesh Pradhan and others) arising out of case crime no. 316 of 2021, under Sections 60, 60(2), 62 Excise Act and Sections 272, 273 I.P.C., Police Station Brahmpuri, District Meerut pending in the court of Session Judge, Meerut within a time bound frame. It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicants that the applicants are accused in this case and charge-sheet was submitted in the matter on

02.12.2021. As per the charge-sheet, there are 13 prosecution witnesses but till date, only one prosecution witness, namely, Sub-Inspector Kartar Singh has been examined. The examination-in-chief of PW-1 was done on 14.10.2022 and his cross-examine was done on 06.04.2023. The trial of the applicants is being lingered on, on account of non co-operation of accused Parvinder. Considering the limited grievance of the learned counsel for the applicant, learned trial court is directed to make an endeavour to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, if there is no legal impediment.
