¶1The case of the petitioners is that they have not been paid compensation so far because their names were not mutated in the revenue records after the death of the original tenure holder.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that now the said exercise has been completed. The petitioners have filed all relevant certificates before respondent no.3, but the compensation amount has not been released.

¶3Sri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel states that respondent no.3 will examine the claim of the petitioners and will take appropriate action in the matter.

¶4Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.3 to pass a speaking order on the representation of the petitioners dated

23.01.2023 (annexure-2) within eight weeks from the date of communication of the instant order along with photocopy of the representation.
