The petitioner's appeal against the order dated 06.03.2018 is pending before the Managing Director, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow since 25.03.2021. The grievance of the petitioner is that he is suffering under the impugned order and has lost a substantial sum ordered to be recovered, besides the ill-effects of the censure entries. Given the fact that the petitioner's appeal is pending before the Managing Director, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow, it is ordered that the Managing Director shall decide the said appeal within fifteen days of date. At this stage, Mr. Vinayak Ranjan, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Kartikeya Saran, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.4 and 5 states that the petitioner has preferred his appeal before a wrong forum, inasmuch the impugned order has been passed by the Managing Director, Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Meerut and the appeal would, therefore, be cognizable by the Chairman, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow and not the Managing Director, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow. In the circumstances, the Managing Director, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow is ordered to transmit the appeal to the Chairman, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow within a week and the Chairman shall decide the appeal within two weeks of the receipt thereof from the Managing Director with due intimation to the petitioner, in accordance with law. The result of the appeal shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week of the decision being rendered by the Chairman, U.P. Power Corporation, Lucknow. This writ petition is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid orders. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Managing Director, U.P. Power Corporation Limited, Lucknow and the Chairman, U.P.
