This appeal is instituted under Section 372 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, challenging the acquittal of the accused. An application has now been filed by the appellant for withdrawal of the appeal, the application is supported by the affidavit of Smt. Sakeena, who is the sole appellant in the matter. Apparently, the parties have entered into some settlement otherwise. Since the appeal is not pressed by the appellant, the application for withdrawal of appeal is allowed.
