¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and perused the record.

¶2By means of the instant writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus Commanding the respondent no.2/Divisional Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Agra Division Agra to decide the petitioner's Appeal dated 06.12.2022 (Annexure-3 to the writ petition) with in time bound period.

(ii) Issue any other writ order or direction which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper.

(iii) Award costs in favour of the petitioner."

¶3So far as the grievance of the petitioner is concerned, this Court finds that the petitioner has already filed an Appeal before the respondent No.2/Divisional Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Agra, Division Agra on 06.12.2022 against the order passed by District Level Committee dated 20.10.2022 by which the caste certificate of the petitioner was cancelled. However, till date the same is pending consideration.

¶4No useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending.

¶5In view of above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the Divisional Level Caste Scrutiny Committee, Agra Division Agra (Respondent No.2) to take final call qua the Appeal preferred by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law after hearing all the stakeholders in the matter within a period of one month from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
