¶1The instant petition has been filed praying for a direction to respondent no.5 i.e. Additional District Magistrate/Competent Authority (Land Acquisition), District Mahoba to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 31.03.2023 in respect of their claim for compensation for the acquired land.

¶2Brief holder of Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel representing respondent no.3 has placed for our perusal an award dated 24.03.2023 which, according to him, determines compensation for the subject land.

¶3Counsel for the petitioners prays for liberty to file application before respondent no.5 for withdrawal of the compensation amount.

¶4Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with liberty reserved in favour of the petitioners to file application for withdrawal of the compensation amount and in which event it shall be disposed of in accordance with law by respondent no. 5 within four weeks.
