¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. Shubhra Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2By mens of the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following principal reliefs:- "(i) Issue a writ order of direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to respondent authority to allocate a seat to the petitioner according to her Rank in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

(ii) Issue a writ order of direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to direct to take the appropriate decision upon the representation dated

19.09.2023 of the petitioner in a schedule time frame."

¶3After hearing the parties at length, once the Court has indicated its mind in negative, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the present writ petition be dismissed as not pressed.
