¶1The grievance of the petitioners in the present petition is that the name of the petitioners has been wrongly deleted from the revenue records over plot nos. 170, 546, 656 and 339 situated at Village Dehari, Pargana Bhuili, Tehsil Chunar, District Mirzapur and the land has been entered wrongly in the name of P.A.C. Camping Asthal.

¶2The issue raised in the petition involves disputed questions of fact which can only be decided on evidence and, therefore, writ proceedings are not the appropriate remedy for the relief prayed by the petitioners. The petitioners have the remedy to institute appropriate proceedings for declaration of their rights.

¶3In the light of the aforesaid, it is not a fit case for interference under Article 226 of the Constitution. The petition is dismissed. Order Date :- 16.11.2023 CS/- High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
