¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Anil Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for respondent nos.2 and 3.

¶2The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "a. issue an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.3 - Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Handia, Prayagraj to pay the admitted and quantified amount of Rs.2,60,112.40 to the petitioner for civil work done in pursuance to Work Order No.42(1)/2022 dated 06.01.2022 (Annexure - 1)."

¶3It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that a sum of Rs.2,60,112.40 has to give to the petitioner for civil work carried out by the petitioner's firm.

¶4On a query by the Court, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this amount is payable to the petitioner and is admitted by the respondents.

¶5Learned counsel for the contesting respondents also does not dispute that this amount is payable to the petitioner.

¶6In these circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to make payment of Rs.2,60,112.40 to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today.
