¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri F.A. Ansari, learned standing counsel for the State respondents.

¶2By means of instant writ petition the petitioner has confined his prayer that the respondent no.2, District Magistrate, Muzaffar Nagar may be directed to decide his representation dated 07.10.2023 within stipulated period.

¶3Learned Standing Counsel has not resisted the prayer made by the petitioner.

¶4No useful purpose would be served in calling for the counter affidavit and keeping the writ petition pending.

¶5Considering the facts and circumstances, without adverting on merits and with the consent of parties, the writ petition is disposed of asking the respondent no.2, District Magistrate, Muzaffar Nagar to process the representation of the petitioner dated 07.10.2023 expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
