¶1After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer in respect of prayer no. (b), which reads as under:- "(b) Issue and order or direction to direct the court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar to decide the application dated 25.09.2023 filed u/s 26 Guardian and Wards Act in Case No.114 of 2022 ( Shalini Vs. Prateek) (Annexure No 6 to the writ petition) expeditiously."

¶2It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that an order is urgently required in the aforesaid application dated 25.09.2023 but the next date fixed in the matter in the month of January, 2024 before the court below. Learned counsel for the petitioner prayed that some direction may be issued to the court below for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid application.

¶3In this view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to move an application for early hearing of application dated 25.09.2023 along with a copy of this order within a period of ten day from today.

¶4The court below is directed to decide the aforesaid application strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of three weeks thereafter but without granting unnecessary adjournment unless there is no legal impediment.
