By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner has prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding respondent no. 2, the Director General, BSF, CGO Complex, New Delhi to decide the pending departmental appeal dated 18.6.2023 within a time bound period. Learned counsel for the respondent does not have any objection to the above request. In view of above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no. 2, the Director General, BSF, CGO Complex, New Delhi to look into and consider the departmental appeal of the petitioner and dispose of the same, if any, already not disposed of, within a maximum period of sixty days from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order by following the procedure prescribed for after giving full opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
