¶1The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that no report is being submitted by the Executive Officer, Provincial Section, Public Works Department/Nodal Officer Koraon i.e. the respondent no. 2, to the District Magistrate Prayagraj regarding inquiry constituted by order dated 17.07.2023 passed under Rule 5 of the Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhans, Up-Pradhans and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997.

¶2The grievance of the petitioner can be considered by the District Magistrate and therefore it would serve no useful purpose to keep the writ petition pending.

¶3The petitioner may submit a representation before the District Magistrate, Prayagraj bringing all the necessary facts to his notice who on receipt of the said representation shall decide the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date the representation is filed before him.
