¶1Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

¶2This writ petition has been filed for following relief: "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the application dated 16.08.2023 expeditiously within the period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 2 to endorse the order dated 07.08.2023 passed by this Hon'ble Court in the revenue records."

¶3Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that an order of status quo has been passed by this Court which is not being recorded in the revenue records.

¶4Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State raised a preliminary objection that no such writ petition is maintainable firstly for compliance of the order passed by this Court or any other court and further that Khatauni being record of right, an order of status quo cannot be incorporated in the records of right. The prayer made in the writ petition is misconceived.

¶5In view of the above, I am not inclined to interfere in the matter.
