¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶2This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Rampur to decide the Hindu Marriage Petition No. 330 of 2022 (Surendra Singh Vs. Smt. Neetu) filed under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act.

¶3It appears from perusal of the order-sheet that the petition was filed on 4.7.2022 and the case is being listed for written statement/issues.

¶4Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent.

¶5In view of the aforesaid provisions of the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required.
