¶1Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent No. 1 and Sri. Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the Respondents No. 2, 3 & 4.

¶2Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is working on the post of Headmaster in Primary School Gambhirpur Dakshin Bidhnoo, Kanpur Nagar and in the month of February, 2023 he was paid salary on the basis of Basic Pay of Rs. 55,200/-. It has further been submitted that thereafter all of sudden petitioner's Basic Pay has been reduced to Rs. 53,600/-.

¶3Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has argued that the aforesaid reduction in pay has been done without providing any opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

¶4Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has invited attention of this court that against reduction of his pay petitioner has filed representation on 28.07.2023 to Finance and Accounts Officer, Basic Education, Kanpur Nagar whereby he has raised his grievance but till date the said representation has not been decided.

¶5On the other hand Mr. Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing for Respondents No. 2, 3 & 4 has very fairly submitted that since petitioner has already filed representation before Finance and Accounts Officer, Basic Education, Kanpur Nagar, therefore, petitioner's grievance can very well be considered and redressed by the Finance and Accounts Officer, Basic Education, Kanpur Nagar.

¶6In view of the aforesaid submissions advanced by the learned counsels appearing for the parties, this writ petition is finally disposed of with liberty to petitioner to file a fresh representation before Finance and Accounts Officer, Basic Education, Kanpur Nagar within a period of one month from today and if such representation is filed, Respondent No. 3 is directed to consider and decide the said representation by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period of two months thereafter.
