¶1The petitioners have prayed for a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide their compounding application dated 12.08.2021 registered as Case No. 96 of 2021 within a specified time frame.

¶2It transpires from the reply given to the petitioner under Right to Information Act that the said case is still pending.

¶3Consequently, we dispose of the instant petition with direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the application expeditiously preferably within twelve weeks from the date of communication of the instant order after hearing all concerned parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
