¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2Challenge in the writ petition is to a show cause notice dated

31.10.2022, under Section 3(1) of the U.P. Goondas Act.

¶3In our considered opinion, such a challenge is not tenable because the petitioner still has every opportunity of replying to the show cause notice and contesting the proceedings, if any, that may be drawn on its basis.

¶4Under the circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed with the observation that the petitioner may reply to the notice issued to him, raising all such pleas that may be available, both on facts and on law. Order Date :- 22.11.2023 Mayank High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
