This petition appears to be premature, inasmuch as only a report submitted by police station is challenged without there being any challenge to the consequential notice by the competent authority. Faced with the above observation, learned counsel for the petitioner comes up with the prayer to withdraw the petition at this stage with liberty to file afresh as and when a notice is issued by the competent authority.
