¶1Heard learned counsel for the parties.

¶2Petitioner, who has retired from the post of Assistant Consolidation Officer on 21.05.2023, has prayed for following reliefs: "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents/ respondent No.2 to pay the reitral benefits i.e. Gratuity, G.P.F., Leave Encashment, Group Insurance, remaining bonus, arrears of pension, salary due from 06.03.2018 to 31.05.2018 differences of salary from June, 2018 to 31.05.2023 alongwith interest @ 18% P.A. forthwith and to pay the regular pension to the petitioner. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to consider and take appropriate decision of the representation dated 25.09.2023 moved by the petitioner with regard to payment of retiral dues, remaining salary and pension within specified period."

¶3Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the representation of the petitioner dated 25.09.2023 being accorded due consideration in accordance with law and disposed of in a time bound period as may be prescribed by this Court.

¶4In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.2 to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 25.09.2023 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
