The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that his application under Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojna filed for compensation because of the death of his son in an electricity accident on 2.10.2022, is still pending and not being decided by the Collector/District Magistrate, District-Maharajganj. The application was filed on 27.12.2022. It would serve no purpose to keep the petition pending. The Collector/ District Magistrate, District-Maharajganj is directed to decide the application dated 27.12.2022 filed by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him after giving the parties an opportunity of hearing and strictly in accordance with law as laid down by this Court in its different judgements.
