Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State. By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, District Firozabad to decide and pass appropriate order in Maintenance Case No. 1205 of 2020 (Smt. Nighat Anzum vs. Nazir Hussain) under Section 125 Cr.P.C. Police Station Ramgarh, District Firozabad within a stipulated time. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that initially an ex-parte order of maintenance dated 16.08.2022 was passed which was subsequently rejected, however, till date an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. has not been decided Perused the record as well as the order-sheet. Expeditious disposal of a case is the right of every litigant and it is expected from every court to endeavour to dispose of a case pending before it, expeditiously. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the court below i.e. Principal Judge, Family Court, Firozabad is directed to make all possible efforts to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously.
