¶1The grievance of the petitioner in the present petition is that no action is being taken by the Sub Divisional Magistrate and other revenue authorities to restore possession of the petitioner as stipulated in Section 24 (2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 despite the order to this effect by the Sub Divisional Magistrate.

¶2The powers of Sub Divisional Officer under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 are administrative in nature and any failure on the part of the revenue authority in not fulfilling their duties as stipulated in the aforesaid provision can be looked into by the Collector. The petitioner may file an application or representation before the Collector, Prayagraj who shall pass an appropriate order on the said representation within a period of one month from the date of filing the same and shall also take action in accordance with law depending on his decision.
