¶1Prayer for expeditious disposal of civil suit pending since 2006 has been made before this Court.

¶2The order-sheet reveals that the case was pending for disposal of injunction application and was dismissed for want of prosecution in 2019 and has been restored after four years in 2023.

¶3The petition is disposed of in following terms:

(a) In case, the written statement has been filed by the defendant, the trial court shall proceed to frame issues with the assistance of the parties and shall frame the same by the end of January, 2024.

(b) Thereafter, short dates shall be fixed for recording of evidence and after completion of evidence, the suit shall be decided on merits within a period of six months, from the date of closure of evidence, provided a certified copy of this order is filed before the trial court by the end of first week of December, 2023.
