¶1It is a travesty of justice that restoration application is pending since 1994 before Deputy Director of Consolidation, Ballia.

¶2Sri Om Prakash Mishra, learned counsel for petitioners submits that from last many dates, restoration application is at the stage of arguments.

¶3Learned Standing Counsel for State submits that an appropriate direction may be given to Deputy Director of Consolidation to decide restoration application.

¶4In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that on next date fixed by Authority concerned, contesting parties shall file their submission and Revisional Authority shall pass an appropriate reasoned order within 7 days thereafter.

¶5Learned Standing Counsel shall ensure that this order be communicated to Consolidation Commissioner, Lucknow.
