¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.

¶2The instant writ petition seeks quashing of the FIR dated

22.08.2023 giving rise to Case Crime No.276 of 2023, under Sections 354ka, 506 I.P.C., and 7/8 POCSO Act, Police Station-Wavecity, District-Ghaziabad.

¶3The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner has already been arrested consequent to the impugned FIR and has thereafter been bailed out in the matter.

¶4Under the circumstances, no effective relief can be granted to the petitioner in this petition. The petition is also under the circumstances, rendered purely academic. There exists no justification to entertain this petition embark upon a purely academic exercise.
