¶1The instant petition has been filed for a direction to Respondent No. 3 to pay compensation to the petitioners for having taken over possession of Gata No. 162, area 0.4510 hectare, situated at Mauja-Buxi Moda, Tehsil-Sadar, District-Prayagraj for construction of PWD Road.

¶2In compliance of previous order of this Court, Respondent No. 2 has filed his personal affidavit wherein it has been stated that the claim of the petitioners has been referred to the District Level Committee for decision in accordance with Government Order dated 12.05.2016.

¶3Counsel for the petitioners fairly states that at this stage the grievance stands redressed. He reserves his right to approach the Court in case the decision of the Committee goes against the petitioners.

¶4Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Committee to decide the claim as referred to it by Respondent No. 2 vide letter dated 07.11.2023 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of the instant order.
