Petitioner seeks assignment of personal security at the cost of the State exchequer.

¶2Learned Standing Counsel informs that such application is to be considered by the committee constituted at the District level.

¶3Accordingly, without entering into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with the observation, in case the petitioner makes such application before the District Level Committee within a period of two weeks from today, the same may be taken up and considered in accordance with law." Today, instructions have come from State side wherein it has been stated that order of writ Court has been complied with and application of applicant has been decided on 16.11.2023. In view of said fact, as the order of writ Court has been complied with, the contempt application is rendered infructuous and the same stands dismissed.
