¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ambrish Shukla, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and Sri Balwshwar Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the Daksinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.

¶2The petitioner has confined his prayer that his Electric Connection No.72200397793 (Meter No.14802406) may be restored within a stipulated period.

¶3On the instructions, Sri Balwshwar Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the Daksinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. states that there is non-cooperation on the part of the petitioner and in case he cooperates, definitely, his electricity connection would be restored in accordance with law.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, no useful purpose will be served to keep this petition pending consideration and call for a counter affidavit.

¶5Therefore, in view of the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 - Sub Divisional Officer (S.D.O.) Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd., Mathura to take appropriate decision in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a week from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
