¶1This writ petition is arising out of a substitution application. The outcome of a substitution application is only for the purpose to pursue the case and it does not create any substantive right in favour of substituted persons, if there is a dispute. All the contentions raised before this Court can still be raised before Consolidation Officer where matter is pending.

¶2Sri Shakeel Ahmad Azmi, learned counsel for petitioners, at this stage, submits that Consolidation Officer may be directed to decide case expeditiously considering the contentions raised by rival parties.

¶3In view of above, without interfering with impugned order, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to Consolidation Officer, Azamgarh to decide case expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from today, if there is no legal impediment and parties will have liberty to raise all legally permissible submissions before Consolidation Officer.
