¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

¶2Solitary grievance of the petitioner is long pendency of Case No. 6162 of 2023, Computerized Case No. D202311520006162 (Jaikaran Singh and Another Vs. Sanjay Kumar and Others), filed before the District Magistrate, Meerut since 24.7.2023.

¶3Without entering into the merits of the case, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent No. 2 to decide the aforesaid case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties.
