¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA on behalf of the State.

¶2This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of S.T. No.637 of 2015 arising out of Case Crime No.0149 of 2015 (State Vs. Avnish Pandey), under Sections 498A, 304-B I.P.C. & 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station-Bahariya, District-Allahabad.

¶4It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is informant. Three witnesses of fact has been examined by the trial court. Trial is pending since 2015. Applicant is cooperating with the trial but trial court adopting delaying tactics for not deciding the case.

¶5Learned AGA submits that the prayer in the application is innocuous and the same can be allowed.

¶6Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2015, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of 18 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
