¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the State.

¶2The applicant has filed this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. with a prayer that court below be directing the District Magistrate, Varanasi to decide the Case No. 5228 of 2021 Computerized Case No. D202114700005228 (State Vs. Banarasi Yadav) under Section 5(A) U.P. Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 pending in the Court of District Magistrate, Varanasi, expeditiously within a stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the lower court may be directed to decide the complaint as mentioned above expeditiously within a time frame as decided by this Court.

¶4Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, the court concerned is directed to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously preferably within a period of two months if there is no other legal impediment.
