¶1Heard Sri Girja Shanker Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Himanshu Shukla, learned counsel holding brief of Sri Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the Gaon Sabha and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents.

¶2By means of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking direction to expedite the proceeding of Case No. Nil of 2023 (Vindhyachal Vs. Gaon Sabha) filed u/s 24 of U.P. Land Revenue Code, 2006 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Code, 2006').

¶3This Court in the judgement of Daya Shankar vs. State of U.P. and 4 others reported in 2023 (6) ADJ 181, dated 19.05.2023, has already laid down detailed guidelines for disposing of all the proceedings referable to the Code, 2006.

¶4In pursuance of the judgement passed in Daya Shankar (supra), Government of Uttar Pradesh has issued a Government Order dated

6.9.2023, directing all the revenue authorities/revenue courts to decide the proceedings of the Code, 2006 in a time bound manner.
