¶1Heard learned counsel for the parties.

¶2Petitioner has retired from the post of Revenue Inspector on

31.01.2023 however his post retirement dues have remained withheld, according to the petitioner, for no justifiable reason. He submits that earlier an order of punishment was passed regarding pension to be prepared on the basis of pay scale of 2021-22 has come to be reversed by the District Magistrate under his order dated 29.07.2023 and therefore, petitioner is entitled to the dues as per his status on the date of retirement.

¶3It transpires from the record that petitioner has already approached the authority in above regard by making requisite representation on 16.10.2023, however, nothing has further transpired in the matter.

¶4Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the above prayer.

¶5In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the competent authority to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated
