¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record.

¶2This application under Section 482 CrPC has been filed with a prayer to direct the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gorakhpur to decide the 1284 of 2021 (Smt. Manorma Devi Vs. Om Prakash Singh), under Section 125 Cr.P.C., District-Gorakhpur within stipulated period.

¶3Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that applicant is the wife of opposite party No. 2 and she had filed an application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. for grant of maintenance on 24.12.2021, on the basis of which, the instant case was instituted, however, the said case is pending disposal for the last about two years and has has not yet been disposed of and has been lingering-on, on one pretext or the other.

¶4In view of the above, learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Gorakhpur is expected to make all endeavours to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order without giving any unnecessary adjournments to either parties, if there is no other legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid case.
