By means of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following relief: "Issue writ of mandamus directing and commanding the learned court of Sub Divisional Officer (Judicial) Hathras, to decide the case No. T202118340105437 (Devi Ram and others vs. District Engineer P.W.D. Aligarh) Under Section 144 U.P. Revenue Court 2006, expeditiously within a stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court." This Court in the judgement of Daya Shankar vs. State of U.P. and 4 others; 2023 (6) ADJ 181, dated 19.05.2023, has already laid down detailed guidelines for disposing of all the proceedings referable to the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. In pursuance of the judgement passed in Daya Shankar (supra), Government of Uttar Pradesh has issued a Government Order dated 6.9.2023, directing all the revenue authorities/revenue courts to decide the proceedings of Revenue Code in a time bound manner.
