To a provisional assessment notice dated 28.6.2023, the petitioner had submitted his reply on 13.7.2023. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the final assessment has till date not been done. He also apprehends that the reply might not be considered. We have no reason to believe that the reply would not be considered. We, therefore, dispose of the writ petition with a direction that the reply of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law before the final assessment order is passed.
