¶1Heard learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the State of U.P./opposite party no.1 and perused the record.

¶2The instant application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. dated 12.09.2023 has been preferred by the applicants with a prayer to quash the charge sheet dated 13.12.2011, cognizance order dated

18.06.2015 and summoning order dated 15.09.2015 passed by learned I/C ACJM, Maharajganj in Case No. 599 of 2015 (State Vs. Shah Alam and others) arising out of Case Crime No. 1387 of 2011, under Sections 147, 323, 504, 506, 452, 427, 34 I.P.C. and Section 7 of Criminal Law Amendment Act, Police Station-Nautanwa, District-Maharajganj, pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Maharajganj.

¶3Considering the inordinate delay of about eleven years in filing the instant application, I do not find any good ground to interfere in the matter.

¶4In view of the above, the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of laches without entering into the merits of the case.
