¶1Heard learned counsel petitioner and learned A.G.A. appearing for State.

¶2Present writ petition has been preferred with the prayer to quash the inquiry report dated 10.09.2023 conducted by the respondent no. 3-Superintendent of Police, Bijnor. Further prayer has been made seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct fair and transparent inquiry by an independent agency (Central Bureau of Investigation).

¶3On a pointed query as to how this petition in maintainable at the instance of the petitioner, who himself is an accused, learned counsel for the petitioner could not satisfy this Court.

¶4We have considered the issue involved in the present case in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. - 11652 of 2023 (Preeti Singh vs. State of U.P. and others) decided on 3.8.2023.
