01.11.2023 reveals that a complaint had been filed against the petitioner under the Mines and Minerals Regulations and Development Act, 1957 before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mau. If that is the case, the petitioner may move an application before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mau for the release of the JCB machine. Under such circumstances, without going further into the merits of the case, it is being directed that if the petitioner files an application within a period of one week from today before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mau for the release of the JCB then the same shall be decided within a period of 15 days, thereafter.
